Registration is open for the 2025 CSA Season

What is a CSA?

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. It is a partnership between the farmer and you, the shareholder or subscriber, with both parties sharing some of the risks, as well as the bounty, of agricultural production.

WHY A CSA IS IMPORTANT TO A FARM?

By selling memberships in advance of the growing season, CSAs reduce the burden of up-front costs for the farmer. Your membership fees provide us with money to purchase seed and equipment before the season starts, and we appreciate your commitment.

WORKING CSA

Farms have numerous things to do each week in order to get a box of produce ready to distribute. By electing a working CSA, you are able to help out with many of the farming chores and get a reduced fee for your weekly box of produce.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please send us a message, if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Each week a full share includes a variety of:
Salad Greens (1-3 items) - Example baby lettuce, spinach, kale, swiss chard, or head lettuce.
Staple Vegetables (3-5 items) - Example broccoli, cauliflower, beans, tomatoes, cucumbers, or squash.
Snacking Vegetables (1-2 items) Example sugar snap peas, cherry tomatoes, carrots, or sweet peppers.
Onion Family Vegetables (1-2 items) Example Scallions, sweet onions, garlic, or leeks.
Unique Vegetables (1-2 items) Example rhubarb, patty pan squash, radishes, eggplant or Sweet Corn.
Fruit and Herbs when possible - Strawberries, Melons, or Pumpkins.

A half share will be approximately half of what a full share would provide.

The CSA will run a minimum of 18 weeks with the first pickup will be May 31st and the last one will be September 28th. Since plants sometime have a mind of their own, if we are ahead of schedule, we will notify you and you will get extra veggies to start the season. If the weather is warmer in the fall you will also get extra produce if the season allows. This is one of the perks of being part of a CSA.

You can:

 1. Arrange for someone else to pick it up for you.
2. Donate your share. We donate food to a local food bank most weeks. You can choose to have us include your share if you are unable to pick it up.
3. Double up your share one week before or one week after.

Farmers pick for the season:

Full Share $800 (10-14 items per week)
Half Share $425 (5-7 items per week)

Working Share:

If you would like to help out on the farm with many of chores, picking, rinsing, packing and sometimes weeding, we offer a discount to your share price:

2 hour per week get 20% off or 4 hours per week get 50% off
